I already and will always have tons of memories with you, good and bad.
You would like to give someone a cell phone but it didn't happen.
"Do you want a phone?" My dad asked.
"Umm...ya," I said.
So instead you gave it to me. That black cell phone that you gave me is still hiding somewhere in the house.
Also remember the time I wanted to go for vacation in Europe, but "stuff" happened so we didn't go. Still you made a great vacation came true, just in a different place.
Thanks for a lot in this 10 years of my life. I will always remember memories from before, now and after...
Happy Father's Day!
Your writing about your dad touches my heart, I know how hard you are facing your dad who acts as military at home. But your dad is a very generous man besides he loves us so much, especially to you. He is the best man I've ever found in my life. He asked you to wear headscarft when you were still at 1st grade. He made you looked different among your friends in the class. He is very strict about our obligations as muslim, especially performing salat and wearing hijab. He treats your brother strictly too. He wakes him up in the early morning and taking him to the mosque for performing salat fajr jama'ah (together). Do you know that your brother likes weeping on the way to the mosque? He's still 6 years old...but your dad always says,"Muhammad, please don't be a munafiqun who doesn't like to perform salat fajr and isha in the mosque.."
He doesn't even understand what's the meaning of munafiqun but InsyaAllah one day he will proud to have a father like your dad.

Your dad has much money but he doesn't like spending his money for luxurious things, fashion...he always reminds us that if we don't need something so don't spend money for nothing. It's better for saving or giving charity for the people who need. You grow up now...it's hard for a girl like you but I think that you can look at me...If I can accept it and Alhamdulillah I'm happy without those stuffs...so why you can't...InsyaAllah step by step you'll be able too.
Listen to me (your mom) that what your dad taught you...InsyaAllah it will be good for your life in the future.
He is a little bit rude but please take the point only and try to understand him as nobody perfects, he has weakness too and so do I and you and everyone else. You're right...he needs to control his emotion but please look at the good side of him. He leads you to the straight path...in which you won't be lost and suffer in hereafter InsyaAllah. ALLAH knows, He will strengthen your heart, my patient little girl.... and He will show you that it's true oneday...you'll see, sweetheart. Then I believe that you will never feel regret to have a father like your dad. InsyaAllah....
Do you know why your dad would not postpone the time to take you for performing hajj. People said that you were too young to go without your mom. He said,"Because I don't know what will happen next year. Will I still alive? Will be everything still the same...the opportunity, healthy, ability (time, money etc)?
My daughter, he always wants to sacrifice for Allah immediately. Alhamdulillah.
